Terms of Service - BizzFolio

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BizzFolio ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. BizzFolio is operated by BizzFolio ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

BizzFolio is a photo-first business discovery and marketplace platform. Businesses showcase themselves through photos, and consumers discover local businesses visually. The Service includes web and mobile applications, APIs, and related services.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

Account types:

Consumer accounts — Browse businesses, write reviews, save favorites
Business accounts — Create business profiles, upload photos, respond to reviews, access analytics

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, reviews, messages). By posting content, you grant BizzFolio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service.

You agree not to post content that is:

Illegal, defamatory, or harassing
Infringing on intellectual property rights
Spam, misleading, or fraudulent
Sexually explicit or violent
Malware or harmful code

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat violators.

5. Business Listings

Business account holders are responsible for the accuracy of their business information. Misleading or fraudulent business listings may be removed. BizzFolio does not verify or endorse any business listed on the platform.

6. Reviews

Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experiences, and written by verified email users. Business owners may respond to reviews but may not manipulate, incentivize, or suppress reviews. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

7. Payments and Subscriptions

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Intellectual Property

The BizzFolio name, logo, and Service design are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIZZFOLIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
